Charles F. Murray-President and CEO

Chuck began his career at Marsh and McLennan in New York and Los Angeles. Prior to developing CMIdirect, Chuck was in charge of the financial institution division of Frank B. Hall, Los Angeles.

CMIdirect is an affiliate of the CMI Insurance Services, the largest independent third party marketer on the West Coast, with account relationships with major financial institutions across the United States such as the Bank of America, Chase Morgan, Countrywide Mortgage, Washington Mutual and Wells Fargo Bank.



Dana Kelly-Director of Sales

Dana’s career encompasses over 30 years of experience with financial institutions, major corporations, associations, unions in the design and sale of insurance programs. Prior to joining CMIdirect, he was the Financial Institution Marketing Director for The Prudential, where he developed and installed highly successful insurance programs for many of the major financial institutions in the United States, including: Chase, Citibank, Bank of Boston, Fleet Financial, G E Capital, Toyota, GMAC, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. Dana is a graduate of Dartmouth College (B.A. in Psychology) and a CLU.



Jim White-Agent/Sales Manager

With over thirty years in the business of insurance, Jim has experience to see the wide scope of sales opportunities and yet maintain the focus required to help that one agent sell that one case.

Starting with the St. Paul Fire and Marine as the youngest high limit, Inland Marine Underwriter on through block placements of reinsurance with Lloyds, Jim has lead the way with innovative methods and products. Sales training from IBM, Xerox, Ziglar and Robbins gives Jim the finesse to home in on sales resistance and reduce it to a “Yes”.

At CMIDirect, Jim has developed multiple product lines to fully utilize several companies. With that, CMIDirect can show a seamless product line to Marketing Partners and professional, friendly service to the consumer.



Shirley Simcox-Manager of Operations

Shirley has held many positions in HR, Customer Service and Operations in the Medical, Cable and Video and Manufactured Housing industries. She has developed employee handbooks and training programs for various companies. Although new to the insurance business; accurate policies, correct procedures and customer care are her priorities.



John Griswold-Director of Network Technology

John is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in Windows NT 4.0 and has a BS in Information Systems from California Baptist University. He has several years of experience as a network administrator in an insurance environment.

John has several years experience maintaining Windows Networks as well as Novell and Unix experience. He has set up T1 connections using Cisco routers between facilities, as well as to the internet. While at Trend Micro he was in charge of network security with the industry leader in virus suppression and network security.

John also maintains CMIDirect’s state of the art Voice over IP Telephony Systems. CMIDirect has the latest computer integrated phone and CSR software packages to satisfy the needs of our Marketing Partners.
